2024 Jonesborough Farmers Market

Jonesborough Farmers Market is seeking sponsors for the 2024 season. It will operate for 24 Saturdays, 8 am to 12 pm, for 24 weeks (May 4 to October 26, except the weekends of Jonesborough Days and Storytelling Festival). Check out the sponsorship form.

Farm, Fresh, Fit Walking Program at Jonesborough Farmers Market

In order to foster a family-friendly environment, help address food insecurity in our region, and promote a healthy and active lifestyle, a walking program not completely tied to federal grants was created. Tennessee Valley Authority helped get the program off the ground in 2021. Participants walk about a mile on our path and earn $5 in tokens to purchase fresh produce at the farmers market. About $10,00 was returned to our vendors in 2022 and over $15,000 was returned in 2023. Look on our website page for more information on sponsoring this program.

2024 Farm to Table Dinner - TBA

Our annual Farm to Table Dinner is Jonesborough Locally Grown’s largest fundraiser of the year, benefiting Boone Street Market and Jonesborough Farmers Market. Last year’s event, all food in the five courses prepared by Chef Alex Bomba and Breelyn Bomba of Main Street Catering was locally sourced through JLG vendors when possible. Stay tuned for the announcement of the 2024 event. It will continue to take place on Main Street in Downtown Jonesborough, this will be the 12th year for the dinner, and it will not be cancelled except for a rain event that prevents table set-up. Click here for more details as they are posted.

Anyone interested in these sponsorship opportunities should contact Lori Powell at lori@jonesboroughlocallygrown.org.

“Food is not just fuel. Food is about family, food is about community, food is about identity. And we nourish all those things when we eat well.
