Jonesborough Locally Grown’s
Market & Mingle
Saturday, April 25th, 2026
10 am - 2 pm on Main Street, Downtown Jonesborough
We’ll update with more details as they are finalized! Last update: 4/24/26
Come kick off the 2026 farmers market season with
a street-fair-meets-farmers-market event!
We’ll feature vendors from both Jonesborough Farmers Market and Boone Street Market, food, music, demos, and a silent auction benefiting the farmers market and store!
We’d like this to be a town-wide event and are encouraging Main Street merchants and eateries to join in. The event is free, and paid tastings using locally-produced products may be available. We are aiming to build excitement and increase exposure to the local food community. Meet your farmers, eat some good food, and have fun! If you’d like to volunteer to help out at this event, let us know here.
One of Jonesborough Locally Grown’s goals as a 501(c)3 non-profit is making sure our vendors take home as much revenue as possible. As such, we charge a very small vendor fee and garner grants to help with marketing. Vendor fees and grants don’t cover all the costs (especially staff time), so fundraising and exposure events like these are very important for us to keep offering market spaces for small farmers and food businesses.

SILENT AUCTION
All proceeds will benefit Jonesborough Farmers Market and Boone Street Market and our mission to connect farmers, food, and the community to grow a vibrant local food system.
Fundraising events like this help us cover administrative costs like credit card processing fees; incentive program management costs to better serve everyone, especially low-income folks; marketing costs to get the word out about the markets and vendors; and more - while keeping vendor fees low and returning as much revenue as possible to our farmers and small businesses.
The Silent Auction will be located at the Storytelling Center.
Visit the registration table to receive your bidder number and more information!
Bidding is open from 10 am to 1 pm. If you are still in the area, please come back at 1:30 pm as we’ll announce the winning bidders on-site. You’ll have the opportunity to pay in full with cash, check, or credit/debit card and take your items home day-of!
If you’re unable to return at 1:30 pm, we’ll contact you on or before Monday, April 27th, to arrange a pickup time.
