Farmers Market FAQ

Can I use a Debit or Credit Card at the Market?

As a service to our vendors who do not accept debit or credit cards, we are able to accept cards at the farmers market information booth. You will receive tokens that represent cash in $5 increments that you can use with any vendor on any item. Change will be given by the vendor if needed. There is no fee for the customer or vendor to use this system.

Where can I park?

There is parallel parking available on S. Cherokee Street, parking along East Courthouse Square by Texas Burritos & More, a large lot behind the Courthouse Square, and a parking lot across from Tennessee Hills Distillery past the railroad tracks. If parking in the lot across the railroad tracks, there is a staircase down to the lower parking lot.

Is there live music at the market?

Yes! Almost every Saturday, beginning at 9 am.

Can I bring my dog to the Farmers Market?

Yes! We are a dog friendly market and in order to allow dogs everyone must follow good manners. We ask that you have respect for our farmers and the space they create to display and sell the products they work hard to produce.

  • Keep dogs on a short leash.

  • Remove your dog from the farmers market area if it starts having an altercation with another dog or is too rowdy. If an issue is identified and you do not remove your dog from the area immediately, the market manager will ask you to do so.

  • Don’t allow dogs to hike their leg and mark any structure or item on market property. If your dog makes a mess, please inform staff/volunteers at the information booth

  • Do not assume everyone is comfortable around your dog; respect other’s space.

Remember, the market is a food distribution area with many people. Please good manner and cleanliness. Thank you for your cooperation.
